Qualified Citroen & Peugeot specialists in Chester
I started my career in 1971 when I joined Quicks of Chester in Pepper Street as an apprentice mechanic.
Between the years of 1971 and 1984, I worked for Quicks of Chester, Urfa Light Industries Engine Reconditioners, Border Motor Company Citroen main dealer in Saltney, Chester, and also Brooklands Garage Citroen main Dealer in Wrexham.
In 1983, I made the decision to become self-employed and set up as a mobile motor mechanic specialising in Citroen cars. During the next ten years, I travelled daily in and around Chester and North Wales repairing and servicing all makes of cars, specialising in Citroen cars. In 1993 I became tired of working outside in adverse weather conditions and discovered, whilst speaking with a customer one day, that Parsonage garage in Aldford (just outside Chester) was still vacant having closed three years earlier.
I have now been running my business from Parsonage Garage in Aldford for 18 years. In 2005 my son Simon joined me as an apprentice mechanic.
